From 1st January 2007 Building Energy Rating (BER) Certificate will be required for new dwellings offered for sale or rent. BER exemptions will apply to new dwellings for which planning permission was applied on or before 31st December 2006 and where the new dwellings involved are substantially completed on or before 30 June 2008.

- The BER Assessment will be carried out in accordance with the Code of Conduct for BER Assessors.
- It will be carried out in an independent manner, based on drawings, and other data supplied by you.
- On the basis of this information, we will complete a BER assessment of the building and submit it to Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) for publication.
- We will also provide you with an advisory report on how to improve the energy efficiency of your home that can improve your building energy rating and save you money by reducing the cost of providing heating and lighting to your home.
For a special introductory offer of €295 we will carry out a BER assessment of your home, provide you with an advisory report and submit your assessment to SEI who will issue your BER Certificate which will be valid for 10 years.
